Meet the Artist

I'm Cece, the artist behind Heartoons.

For as long as I can remember I've enjoyed drawing & caricaturing people for fun. Then in early 2017, I "accidentally" started this business.

I began looking into similar shops that offer this service and I discovered there were a lot... but surprisingly, many just used the same format for each person. Copying & pasting circle faces and two dots for the eyes.

Although it would be easier, I just don't find it possible to copy & paste for different people. I see each face as so unique. I love getting to capture each person with their own features & characteristics.

And I pretty quickly discovered there were many families who loved getting to see themselves as cartoons in this style.

Now, over 300 portraits later, going on 5 years of creating these custom pieces for families--and I still love it.

I look forward to working with each new client and hearing their reactions (whether happy, tearful, laughing) is still my favorite part.
